Ever since Meher Baba's Tomb - Samadhi was built in the 1930s, several other structures have been built by followers of His that mimic the look and shape of the original structure, in various ways, with some finished and one other far from completed.

PERFECT  MAN  SHRINE

Earl Starcher who built the monument did not complete it. He retired to Myrtle Beach, SC., where he later passed away in 1994.

In early 2022 the owner of the property Ken Emery passed away and he gave this property to the town of Columbus. the structure is still there in Columbus.

In May 1932, Meher Baba and 8 companions journeyed from Harmon, New York State to Los Angeles, California. The train on the Chicago and LA route was called the "Golden State Route".

Sometime between 10 - 11am on Saturday 28th May the train went past Columbus Railway Station. Whether it stopped or not is not known.
