Died : 1972-3 - later in life, she suffered a stroke, she couldn't walk.  ( 78-9 y.o. )

Married : 1) Jamshedji Irani (45 y.o.) -( she was 15 y.o.), Bombay. Marriage lasted 20 years.

                 2) Rustomji Dinya ( d. 20-9-1938 ). He was also very old and died 10 years after they married. He had received Baba's blessing to marry Karmen.

Children : 1) 3 sons ( all 1st marriage ) - Homi, Rustom, Merwan. 7 other children from          this marriage did not survive.

                  2) Sarosh ( married Khorshed Irani )

INDIAN

This was Meherwan Merchant's grandmother.

She joined the women mandali in the late 1930s and later in 1941, Baba had her return to Bombay to look after her sons was ill. She remained in Bombay and would see him when he visited the city.

Meher Baba stated that Kharmen would be his 'father' on his next advent in 700 years hence.
