Married to Marion Florsheim.
Harry & Marion attended the reception for Meher Baba at the Longchamps Restaurant in New York City in 1956.
He and Marion came to the Sahavas at the Meher Center in Myrtle Beach for Meher Baba in 1958.
The following is a joke told by Harry Florsheim during a group session in the Barn on the Meher Center during the 1956 tour. The purpose here is to show how Meher Baba encouraged his followers and friends to be natural. Baba as with many others in the Barn found it very amusing and there was lots of laughter, Baba was trying to contain himself and to not break his silence. He noticed that Jane Haynes didn't get the joke and he asked Harry to retell it.
A man was very fond of his chicken and took it everywhere with him. One day he decided to go to the cinema but they wouldn't let him in with his chicken. So, later he placed the chicken in his trousers and he went into the cinema. He sat next to 2 women and during the film he unbuttoned his fly so the chicken could breathe. One of the women said to the other, don't look now but that man's pecker is poking out of his pants, l know said her friend, it's eating my popcorn.
